Poetry Debates
Event series, fall 2021-2024

Every fall for the duration of the project, a Poetry Debates series will take place at the Universität Hamburg and at selected locations throughout the city, such as the Literaturhaus and Kampnagel. Each series will consist of four public events with scholars and poets, which will be individual in scope but united by a joint topic. Talks, readings, lecture performances, lectures on poetics, and roundtable discussions will stimulate dialogues ranging between literary practice and theoretical reflection. Furthermore, the series seeks to transfer knowledge and disseminate research results and academic discussions in the public sphere.
